This policy describes how the YT AnyLang extension ("we", "the extension") collects, uses, and protects your data. We are committed to complying with the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, including the Limited Use requirements.
By using YT AnyLang, you agree to the collection and use of data as described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Data We Collect
The extension only collects the minimum data necessary for account authentication and usage quota management.

session_id is a random session code generated for each dubbing session. It does not contain or link to any YouTube video ID.
1. Purpose of the Extension
YT AnyLang has a single purpose: to automatically translate and dub YouTube videos in real time into your language. The entire translation and voice generation process is handled locally on your device. Video content, subtitles, and generated audio are not sent to our servers.
3. Data We Do NOT Collect
- No browsing history or list of videos you watch is collected.
- YouTube video IDs are not saved or sent to servers.
- Video content, subtitles, or dubbed audio is not sent off your device.
- No keystrokes, geolocation, financial data, health data, or personal communication content is collected.
- Data is not used for advertising or behavioral tracking.
4. Data Stored on Your Device
The following data is stored locally on your device only:
- Usage preferences (language, voice, volume, playback speed).
- Voice models and cache data to speed up processing.
- Login token and current session information.
- Visitor ID.
You can delete this data by signing out or uninstalling the extension.
5. How We Use Your Data
We only use data to:
- Authenticate your account.
- Maintain your login session.
- Manage usage quotas.
We commit to:
- Not selling or transferring data to third parties.
- Not using data for advertising or purposes unrelated to the extension's functionality.
- Not using data for credit scoring or lending.
- Not accessing your data unless you request support, to investigate abuse, or when required by law.
6. Data Sharing
Your data is only processed by:
- Google Sign-In for authentication when you choose to sign in with Google. Data processing follows Google's Privacy Policy.
- Our servers to store account information, login sessions, and usage quota data.
7. Data Retention
Account information is retained until you request deletion. Login sessions expire after a period of inactivity. Usage quota data is retained as long as necessary to operate the service and may be anonymized or aggregated over time.
8. Data Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of data transmission over the Internet or electronic storage can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights
- Access or delete data: contact us via the email below.
- Sign out: revokes tokens and clears login data on your device.
- Uninstall: removes all local extension data.
10. Children
The extension is not directed at children under 13 and we do not intentionally collect data from children.
11. Policy Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page along with the latest update date.
12. Third-Party Links
The extension or our website may contain links to third-party services or websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy policies of those services. Please review the privacy policy of each party as needed.
